Meet the new LeadBot: AI chat and full control in one tool

LeadBot has been reimagined. Starting today, LeadBot V2 is available to all our customers, with a built-in AI chat as the headline addition. From now on, LeadBot answers website visitors' questions 24/7, on top of the structured flows that made us who we are. This release is the first major result of a team we have expanded significantly over the past few months.

Over the past two years, LeadBot grew into a fixture on more than 1,000 websites. During that period, our focus was on one thing: a stable, reliable product that lets businesses decide for themselves what happens on their website. With LeadBot V2, we are taking the next step.

Why AI chat

The demand for AI chat came mainly from our partners: the marketing agencies and web developers who deploy LeadBot for their clients. They saw first-hand that visitors increasingly expect an instant answer, including outside office hours.

With the new AI chat, LeadBot answers those questions automatically, based on a website's own content: product information, frequently asked questions or uploaded documents. Can't the visitor find what they need, or would they rather talk to a human? Then LeadBot hands the conversation over to a team member.

An important detail: the AI chat is not a replacement, but an addition. It's a module you load into a LeadBot flow just like any other element. That way you keep full control over what visitors see, and you use AI where it's the smarter choice.

More than just AI chat

Alongside the AI chat, the new version of our product brings a number of improvements that make working with LeadBot easier:

• A central inbox where form submissions, WhatsApp messages and AI chats come together in one place.
• A redesigned dashboard with more insight into leads, conversations and visitor behaviour.
• Integrations via Zapier and webhooks, so LeadBot easily connects to CRM systems and other tools.

The trusted foundation stays the same. Existing flows and settings simply keep working.

Development in our own hands

A large part of the acceleration happens behind the scenes. We have brought development fully in-house and built our own team for it, with the arrival of a CTO and our own developer. That allows us to move faster and respond more directly to what our partners and customers need.

Our partners were closely involved in the final phase of development. A group of Gold partners actively contributed ideas and had a real say in our roadmap. It's a way of working we want to expand further in the time ahead.

What's next?

We're already working on the next steps. Our roadmap includes a Shopify integration, letting visitors check their order status directly in the chat, and company recognition, which will show you which organisations visit your website. Both features will be available soon.
